Colombia · Energy Infrastructure

The world is short on power. Colombia has rivers that never stopped running.

Hydroplug is building toward the gigawatt those rivers can carry, one licensed hydroelectric site at a time.

Introducing

The Plug

Hydroplug’s edge is upstream: the permits, the hydrology, the delivery architecture. We are not building data centers. We are building the plug they connect to.

01

Permits, licenses, firm power

We identify hydroelectric sites across Colombia's river basins and secure the permits and water concessions to develop them. Plants are engineered for firm, always-on generation, not just peak capacity.

02

Free Trade Zone, direct delivery

Sites are selected first for Free Trade Zone eligibility and direct transmission to the load. Behind-the-meter delivery where the site allows it, grid-connected power where it doesn't.

03

We guarantee the power

Hydroplug guarantees the energy. Infrastructure partners build and operate the data center and deliver the compute service to hyperscalers, neoclouds and AI infrastructure platforms.

Why Colombia

Colombia runs on water. Nearly two-thirds of its grid is already hydroelectric, and its basins hold more capacity than the interconnected grid was ever built to absorb. That surplus, stranded for decades by geography and permitting, is exactly what large-scale compute needs unlocked.
